This Community of Practice (CoP) is organized as part of the eMSP NSBR project (emerging ecosystem-based maritime spatial planning topics in the North and Baltic Sea Regions) and focuses on the learning strand ‘monitoring and evaluation’.

Details of the CoP work, i.e. timeline, workshop concept, and their aims will be presented. Proposal is based on the outcomes of the kick-off conference of the eMSP NBSR project session devoted to Monitoring & Evaluation. During the workshop concrete work on coherence between MSP plans by applying the VASAB-HELCOM check list on coherence will be proposed. Finally, some unilateral and bilateral actions of the countries in order to test the checklist and adjust it if necessary will be initiated.

The meeting is catered to the needs of MSP authorities, representatives of the blue economy sectors and representatives of the civic society that are engaged in MSP and Green Deal at the sea.
